Dr. Diane Narhi grew up in the Detroit area and graduated with honors from the University of Michigan. She received her medical degree from Wayne State Medical School in Detroit and completed her Internal Medicine training at Hutzel Hospital in Detroit. When in college, she fell in love with California after attending a Michigan vs. USC Rose Bowl game. Luckily, she was able to move to California for a Rheumatology Fellowship at UCLA.
Dr. Diane Narhi is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology and been practicing rheumatology in Ventura County since 1983. In 1998, she became the first female chief of staff at Simi Hospital. She is a fellow member of the American College of Rheumatology. In 2016, she joined Identity Medical Group.
Dr. Narhi enjoys all aspects of rheumatology, especially treatment of all types of inflammatory arthritis. One of her goals is to educate her patients about their rheumatologic problems and have them be an active partner in their medical care.
Dr. Narhi is married with one grown daughter. At home, she cares for 2 dogs, 1 cat and 2 horses. She loves reading and the outdoors and especially enjoys skiing, kayaking and travel. Her most recent travels were to Cuba, New Zealand and Australia.
